Iron "Y" strainers are recommended for use in non-corrosive
applications under low to moderate pressures and temperatures.
The threaded model, (I9-250) is available up to the 3" pipe
size. Both the 125# and 250# flanged models are manufactured up
to 24" pipe size, and can be ordered with a hinged cover
(HC).
Standard
screens (304 stainless steel) are stock for water service. Please
specify if for steam service. Screens are available in a wide
variety of perforations, meshes or materials.
