Cast Stainless Steel "Y" strainers are ideal in corrosive applications where moderate to high pressure and temperature conditions are present. Both the threaded ("S9") and socket weld ("S6") units are available up to 3 inch pipe size (2 1/2" and 3" are furnished with a bolted cover). The flanged ("S8") and buttweld ("S7") up to 600# ANSI rating are available up to 24 inch pipe size. For 900#ANSI class and above, castings are available up to 8 inch pipe size. Standard screens (304 stainless steel) are stock for water service. Please specify if for steam service. Screens are available in a wide variety of perforations, meshes, or materials. |
